Whom is my teaching style suitable for?
As a career-long French teacher, I am able to accommodate a variety of learning styles. I have taught French to students ranging from Kindergarten to High school, from beginners to native speakers. I have also taught classes to adults, including immersion classes at universities in France. Among my more recent assignments with non-native speakers, I helped students excel on the International Baccalaureate, the French SAT Subject test and gain admission to prestigious bilingual schools such as Le Rosey, in Switzerland.
What level of proficiency should you have to take French classes with me?
I am a French teacher and French Tutor to students of all levels in Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, and Boca Raton. Whether you are a complete beginner or very advanced, I can help you reach your goal by planning my lessons around your linguistic needs, and by making sure you are engaged throughout the entire class. Even though I believe that all four skills should be addressed (speaking, listening, reading, writing), I tailor my classes to your specific objectives to achieve my goal of making you a confident and competent user of the beautiful French language.
What is my professional background?
As a French teacher my education began in France, my home country. While completing my FLE graduate degree at l'Université de Franche-Comté, I was selected to teach French as a Foreign Language (FLE) at the prestigious Centre de Linguistique Appliquée. After completing my Master’s Degree, I worked at several international schools around the world, including the International School of Dakar (ISD), the International School of Manila (ISM) and the International School of Amsterdam (ISA).
